It is just that you had to type in the figures and Google would deduce the results for you and display it in bold above the search results. Now, Google has enhanced that same functionality and added a full-fledged scientific calculator to the search page. Type in your figures and the calculator appears in all its interactive glory. The calculator has 34 buttons with the scientific functions arranged on the left. You can also make it appear by typing calculator in the search field or in Chrome’s address bar.
